Telephone Calls:
All patients are encouraged to call with any questions concerning their medical problems. However, it would be most unfair to expect the doctor to leave his patients and answer every call at that particular moment. The office staff has been trained to answer many of your medical questions. Your questions are relayed to the doctor and your call will be returned at the earliest opportunity during the day.
Lab Work:
Some basic laboratory tests are performed in this office but most lab tests are sent out. All Pathology charges for pap smears and biopsies are charged through this office instead of having a separate billing from the pathologist. Should you have an abnormal test result, you will be notified as soon as the result is received in this office. You may obtain any other results by calling the office.
Bone Density Scan:
Bone sonometry testing (using ultrasound to determine bone density) is used in our Graham office to determine if you are at risk for or do have osteoporosis.
